Personal Information

PhDr. Marcel Chládek, MBA, born 9th April 1968 in Rakovník.

Education

Studied at the Faculty of Arts of Charles University, Prague, thesis defended in 2006 in Andragogy in Personnel Management. Title of Master of Business Administration (MBA) obtained at the University of Economics and Management.

Professional and Public Activities

From 2008 Senator, Vice-Chairman of the Committee for Education, Science, Culture, Human Rights and Petitions, Vice-Chairman of the ČSSD Senate Club and Deputy Governer of the Central Bohemian Region.

Previously taught at elementary and middle schools, then held a number of positions in adult education, e.g. as Director and Deputy Director of an educational institute.

Member of ČSSD since 2004.

In 2006 elected to the Representative body of the City of Rakovník. From 2008 representative for the Central Bohemian region, where he is Deputy.

From 2005 – 2008 1st Vice-President of the Czech Association of Educational Institutions in Public Administration.
