JUDr. Ing. Miloslav Ludvík, MBA, was born on 5 September 1963 in Prague. He is married and has three daughters.

Education

In 1987 he graduated from the University of Economics - in the field of foreign trade. In 1995 he finished the Law Faculty of Charles University. In 2004 he graduated from the course focused on management and health at the Prague International Business School, obtaining a MBA.

Professional and public activities

Miloslav Ludvík has worked from 1990 in foreign trade, particularly in pharmaceutical companies. In the years 1992-1994 he worked as a commercial/economic director of Wellcome East Europe Ltd.; in the years 1994-1998 he was a CEO of Apotex (Czech Republic) s.r.o. (subsidiary of Apotex Inc.Toronto)’ and in the years 1998-1999 he performed the function of Managing Director of ČS Factoring a.s.

From 2000 to 2016 he served as Director of the Motol University Hospital.

Miloslav Ludvík is involved - in addition to his principal work in the area of public life – already, for a  third term, as a candidate of ČSSD elected into the Council of the Capital of Prague, where he hs experience of various committees. At present he is the Chairman of the Financial Committee and a Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Health and Housing.
