Premier Babiš has completed introducing ministers in their offices

Prime Minister Andrej Babiš introduced the minister for regional development Klára Dostálová, the minister of education, youth and sports Robert Plaga, the minister of culture Ilja Šmíd, and the minister of agriculture Jiří Milek in their offices on Monday 18 December 2017.

By introducing more members of the government in their offices, Babiš followed up on last week's Wednesday, when he introduced seven ministers in their ministries after appointment of the new government by the President Zeman at the Prague Castle and the first meeting in Straka Academy. 

  • The first minister to be introduced in his office was the minister of education, youth and sports Robert Plaga, who replaced Stanislav Štech.

  • Ilja Šmíd took over the Ministry of Culture from Daniel Herman.

  • Jiří Milek was introduced as the head of the Ministry of Agriculture. He will replace Marian Jurečka in the office.

  • Klára Dostálová was introduced in the office of minister for regional development. She took over the office from Karla Šlechtová.
