Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka condemned the Copenhagen terrorist attacks in a telegram addressed to the Danish Prime Minister

Your Excellency,

I was deeply shocked by the recent attacks in Copenhagen, which claimed two lives and left several persons wounded.

These incidents are not only criminal acts – they are clearly terrorist attacks aimed at the principles of freedom and values of an open, democratic society. I deplore the attacks in the strongest possible terms. Every wasted human life is a terrible and irretrievable lost.

Your Excellency, please pass my sympathies and sorrow to the wounded and to the families of the victims.
