Prime Minister deplored Jerusalem terrorist attack

Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Bohuslav Sobotka sent a message of condolences to Prime Minister of the State of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu deploring a terrorist attack on a synagogue in the Har Nof neighbourhood of Jerusalem, in which four worshippers and one police officer died on 18 November 2014.

Your Excellency, Dear Colleague,

I was deeply shocked and appalled by the heinous and callous terrorist act against worshippers in the Jerusalem synagogue. Not only do acts like this bring sorrow and desolation to the affected families but they also further exacerbate the already tense situation in the sensitive and volatile environment of the city of Jerusalem.

Excellency, please do convey my condolences also to the families of the victims of the terrorist attack.

Bohuslav Sobotka
Prime Minister of the Czech Republic
