Security Measures at the Office of the Government of the Czech Republic
Security measures to be taken at the Office of the Government of the Czech Republic (Nábřeží Edvarda Beneše 4, Prague 1) and in its vicinity during the visit of US Vice President Joe Biden.
Due to the reception of the visiting US Vice President Joe Biden by Premier Jan Fischer the area around the Office of the Government of the Czech Republic will be closed from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 23, 2009.
There will be barriers closing off the crossroad na Klárově, U Bruských kasáren Street and the area near Čechův most. Driving and parking cars in these areas will be prohibited.
Only selected employees and accredited journalists will be allowed to enter these areas after a check.
