The Prime Minister met with the Speaker of the Parliament of Montenegro

Friendly and problem-free relations between the Czech Republic and Montenegro, and its integration into the European Union and NATO, but also the current situation in Ukraine. These were the main topics discussed today by the Czech Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka and Speaker of the Parliament of Montenegro Ranko Krivokapić.

Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka emphasised the importance of mutual cooperation between both countries, but also future deepening of relations and dynamic growth of mutual trade. The Czech Prime Minister indicated tourism as one of the most perspective areas of cooperation as well as gradual development of cooperation in the field of education.

He also mentioned the fact that the Czech Republic is continuously supporting the process of expansion of the European Union and NATO, and the successful accession negotiations of Montenegro.

During his two-day visit to Prague, the Speaker of the Parliament of Montenegro met with the Chairman of the Senate Milan Štěch and the Chairman of the Chamber of Deputies Jan Hamáček.
