A Czech Government Delegation To Pay an Official Visit to Ethiopia

A government delegation, led by the Czech Republic’s First Duty Premier Jiří Čunek, will visit the Federative Democratic Republic of Ethiopia between July 24 and 26, 2007.

During a three-day visit the Czech delegation will be received by President Ato Girma Woldegiorgis of the Federative Democratic Republic of Ethopia, and by Ethiopian Prime Minister Ato Meles Zenawi, and will hold a number of trade and political negotiations.

One of the major goals of the visit is the planned signing of an Agreement on the prevention of double taxation.

An originally planned visit to Yemen has been postponed following an agreement by both sides.
