Czech Government Meeting

The Government will discuss, among other topics, the following documents: Draft Government Regulation changing Government Regulation No. 205/2004 Coll., stipulating - within the framework of the joint organization of the milk and diary products market - more detailed conditions for providing support and nation-wide support for the consumption of milk and diary products by pupils in compulsory school attendance at schools incorporated in the country’s school network, as amended by later regulations, Draft Government Regulation laying down details for the safety of marketed lighters, Proposal for the establishment of government scholarships for study at public universities in the Czech Republic for citizens from developing countries for the years 2008-2012, and Report on the implementation of measures of the National Plan for the support and integration of physically handicapped citizens for the period 2006 – 2009 in 2006.

The Government will also be briefed, among other subjects, on the course and completion of payments to the victims of forced labour and other cases of Nazi injustice, and on the intention of the Czech Republic’s operation in Afghanistan (including its Provincial Reconstruction team), starting in the second half of 2008.
