Prime Minister To Receive Romanian Foreign Minister Adrian Mihai Cioroianu

Tomorrow, on Tuesday, October 23, 2007, the Czech Premier will receive the visiting Romanian Foreign Minister Adrian Mihai Cioroianu.

Their brief working meeting will be devoted to questions of economic co-operation and the forthcoming NATO summit to be held in Bucharest next spring.

Romania is a traditional and major partner of the Czech Republic in south-eastern Europe. In the past few years, their economic relations have been greatly promoted as Romania - due to its economic potential, size of its market and a rich tradition of mutual links - figures as one of biggest and most interesting partners for the Czech Republic. This is illustrated by the constantly rising volume of mutual trade exchange since 1993.
