Exhibition and launching ceremony of the book Posters of the Velvet Revolution in the Straka's Academy

The book contains prints of forty-seven posters. Background of their origin is documented by interviews with thirteen poster authors; erudite essays of the design theorist Iva Knobloch and historian Jiří Suk put the posters into the context. The atmosphere of November and December 1989 remind photos of four significant Czech photographers Tomki Němec, Karel Cudlín, Miloš Fikejz and Pavel Štěcha; photos capture the change of grey Czech towns into large coloured hoardings. The exhibition is connected with the outdoor exhibition which was opened at gardens of the Straka's Academy in summer.
