The Portuguese State Secretary Morais Leităo visited the Office of the Government in Prague

On June 3, 2013, the State Secretary for European affairs Vojtěch Belling welcomed a Portuguese delegation led by the State Secretary Miguel Morais Leităo from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Portugal. Both delegations discussed the current European Union issues with a particular focus on the forthcoming European Council topics which will take place between June 27 and 28 in Brussels. Among other matters, the debate included the Multiannual Financial Framework for the period 2014-2020, economic growth and competitiveness arrangements, especially the possible steps to lower the high unemployment rate, and the theme of deepening the Economic and Monetary Union including the Banking Union.
