Born on 17 December 1980 in Hlinsko.

Education

Graduated from with a Masters Degree at Masaryk University in Brno. He subsequently extended his education by post-graduate study of law at the Law Faculty of Charles University in Prague (JUDr.).

Professional and public activities

He is the Chairman of KVV ČSSD of the Pardubice Region, having been a member of ČSSD since 2007.

He was a member of the Young Social Democrats (MSD) and the President of the MSD in Chrudim.

Before entering the House he worked as a lawyer in the Department of Strategic Development of the Region and the European Funds of the Regional Office of the Pardubice Region.

Since 2010, he is a member of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Republic for ČSSD up to taking up the post of a Minister he had been a Deputy Chairman of the Parliamentary Club.

In the current parliamentary term he had been up to the appointment as a Minister inter alia the Deputy Chairman of the Mandate and Immunity Committee and a member of the Constitutionally Legal and Parliamentary Committees.

In 2016 regional elections he was elected to the government of the Pardubice Region.
