Personal Details:

Alena Hanáková was born on September 1st, 1958 in Zlín. Alena Hanáková is married and has two kids Vendula (born 1977) and Jakub (born 1982) from the first marriage. She also has two grandsons and one granddaughter.

Education:

In 1977, she graduated from The Highschool of Education in Boskovice. In 1998 she graduated from Master study program of teaching elementary school at The Faculty of Eduaction at Palacký University in Olomouc.

Professional and Public Activity:

• 1977 – 1993 school club teacher, Zlín (Gottwaldov), Kudlov, Vizovice
• 1993 – 2002 teacher at Vizovice Primary School
• 2002 – 2006 vice-mayor of the town of Vizovice
• 2006 – 2010 mayor of the town of Vizovice
• 2007 – A member of The Minister of Culture’s committee for management of the Heritage Fund for Zlín Region
• 2007 – A member of the evaluation committee of the competition for the best preparation and realization of the Regeneration Program MPR and MPZ
• 2008 – Elected a representative of the Zlín Region for the “Starostové a Nezávíslí” (Mayors and Independent Candidates) political movement
• 2008 – A member of the board of representatives of the Zlín Region for the upbringing, education, and unemployment
• 2008 – 2010 – The chair of The Regional Association of Local governments of the Czech Republic in Zlín Region
• 2010 – The chair of the regional Committee “STAN” (Mayors and Independent Candidates) in Zlín Regio
• 2010 – Elected a representative of the town of Vizovice for the “Starostové a Nezávíslí”
• 2010 – Elected a Member of the Parliament of the Czech Republic representing the Zlín Region
• 2010 – A member of the Electoral Committee of The Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic
• 2010 – A member of the Electoral Commission of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic
• 2010 – A member of The Chamber of Deputies Committee on Science, Education, Culture,Youth and Sports
• 2010 – A member of The Chamber of Deputies Sub-committee on Regional Education
