Working team of the tripartite discussed preparing for the European Council in June

The working team of the Council of Economic and Social Agreement met on 21st June 2012 in order to deal with preparing of positions of the Czech Republic for the European Council and to debate the draft document „Priorities of the Czech Government in the Current Agenda of the EU Single Market“. Reflecting programme of the upcoming European Council, the representatives of executive, trade unions and business community focused mainly on the Growth and Jobs Pact, whose legal status and legal force are not clear yet. The existing or planned Government documents should be – according to representatives of the trade unions – complemented by a text emphasizing the social dimension of integration. During the session, proposed changes to banking sector legal framework were thoroughly examined and discussed as well.
