Czech EU Presidency welcomes Russian promise on resumption of gas deliveries

The Czech Presidency welcomes the promise of the Russian representatives that gas supply to the EU through Ukraine would resume on Tuesday 13 January morning.

The promise was given following the signature by all parties of the agreement on monitoring of the transit route for Russian gas, in Brussels on Monday 12 January. “The signing of the Terms of reference by all sides and with no reservations fulfilled the conditions for a prompt renewal of the flow of gas into the EU.
