The former heads of government of the independent Czech Republic and their partners came to Kramář's villa at the invitation of Prime Minister Fiala to celebrate the round jubilee of the state, 2 January 2023.
On Monday, 2 January 2023, Prime Minister Petr Fiala commemorated the 30th anniversary of the founding of the independent Czech Republic. On the day of the jubilee celebrations, the Prime Minister and his wife Jana attended the regular New Year's Day lunch with President Miloš Zeman at the castle in Lány, and on the occasion of the round anniversary of the establishment of the state, the acting Prime Minister invited his predecessors and their partners to a gala dinner at the Kramář Villa. The celebrations will end with an evening concert by the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra at the Rudolfinum, which will be attended by Slovak Prime Minister Eduard Heger.

Prime Minister Petr Fiala and his wife Jana accepted the invitation of President Miloš Zeman and his wife Ivana to traditional joint New Year’s lunch in Lány. "We didn't just talk about current political topics, most of our discussion was about more general issues. We also talked about history, literature and similar issues. I would like to mention one thing from the political, current topics: The President wants to meet with Environment Minister-designate Petr Hladík later this week, as he has done with all cabinet candidates so far,“ Prime Minister Petr Fiala summed up the course of the New Year's lunch.

In the evening, Prime Minister Fiala held a festive dinner with previous prime ministers of the Czech Republic and their partners to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the founding of the independent Czech Republic at the Kramář Villa. "In spite of the fact that many of us were or are political rivals, that we have different opinions on many things, I think it is good that at such solemn moments all those who at some time in the history of the modern independent Czech Republic had the responsibility, possibility, opportunity to head the government, to be at the top of the executive power in the Czech Republic, to co-shape its direction, should get together and celebrate this important moment,“ stated Prime Minister Fiala.

The programme of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the independent Czech Republic will conclude with evening  concert of the Czech Philharmonic orchestra in  Rudolfinum, which in addition to Prime Minister Petr Fiala and his wife, other members of the government, the President of the Senate Miloš Vystrčil, Chair of the Chamber of Deputies Markéta Pekarová Adamová and other distinguished guests will also be attended by the Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic Eduard Heger and his wife. ‘‘This well proves how even thirty years after the division of the common state we have close, friendly, extraordinary relations between the Czech Republic and Slovakia,“ noted Prime Minister Petr Fiala.
