Prime Minister Sobotka talked with the President of Serbia, Nikolić on the integration of Serbia into the EU as well as on economic cooperation

Prime Minister, Bohuslav Sobotka held talks on Wednesday 30 November 2016, in Kramář Villa with the President of the Republic of Serbia, Tomislav Nikolić, on economic cooperation between the two countries, police cooperation in the context of the management of the migration crisis and to support the endeavours of Serbia in relation to its integration into the EU.

Prime Minister Sobotka in the course of talks with President Nikolić assured him that the Czech Republic continues to support efforts not only of the Republic of Serbia but also of other countries of the Western Balkans, to become Member States of the European Union.

The Prime Minister spoke to the Serbian President also on the management of consequences of the migration crisis, the development of mutual cooperation in the economic area and also on cooperation between the countries of the Visegrad Group and the six Western-Balkan countries.
