April 10, 2008: Premier and Minister of Agriculture To Unveil Farming Policy Reform; Press Conference at 10:00 a.m.

On Thursday, April 10, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. Czech Prime Minister Mirek Topolánek and Minister of Agriculture Petr Gandalovič will address a press conference devoted to the reform of the country’s agricultural policy. The priorities of the Government reform package include the task to raise the quality of life in rural areas, support for competitiveness and restrictions of bureaucratic obstacles in the agricultural business, settlement of land ownership relations, and a just concept of the European Union’s agricultural policy.
