April 10, 2008: Premier To Hold Talks with Singapore Foreign Minister
On Thursday, April 10, 2008 Czech Prime Minister Mirek Topolánek will receive the visiting Singapore Minister of Foreign Affairs George Yeo. This is the first ever official visit by a Singapore Foreign Minister to the Czech Republic.
Singapore ranks among the Czech Republic’s major trading partners in Asia on a long-term basis. Last year their mutual trade volume accounted for 12.3 billion CZK. Further intensification of economic and scientific contacts will be one of the key items of the bilateral talks.
