Czech Government Meeting

The Government will discuss, among other topics, the following documents: A bill amending Act No. 247/2000 Coll., on the acquisition and improvement of the roadworthiness for driving motor vehicles and on changes to some laws, as amended by later regulations, Act No. 361/2000 Coll., on road traffic and on changes to some laws (Road Traffic Act), as amended by later regulations, and Act No. 634/2004 Coll., on administrative charges, as amended by later regulations, Quantification of obligations ensuing from PPP contracts, Provision of emergency supplies of crude-oil and selected oil products for the period 2007 - 2011, Strategy for the rehabilitation of territory afflicted in January 2007, and a Government motion to the Supreme Administrative Court to suspend activities of some political parties and political movements and to dissolve them.

The Government will also be briefed, for instance, on the implementation of measures to introduce interdisciplinary teams integrating personnel from the medical and social services and the police assisting in the detection and persecution of cases of domestic violence for the year 2006, on the implementation of the Accompanying social programme for the country´s steel industry for 2006 and on proceedings in 2007, and on the measures completed within the Report on the results of supreme state supervision in forests, and draft measures.
