February 9, 2009: Czech Government Meeting

The Czech Government meeting on Monday, February 9, 2009 will be preceded at 9:00 a.m. by a session of the Committee for the European Union. The members of the Government of the Czech Republic will then be discussing, among other issues, the following items: ? Bills adjusting variant changes of the electoral system to the House of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic;
? draft amendment to the Act on the terms of transfer of farmland and woodland in state ownership to other entities;
? draft amendment to the Act on professional servicemen; ? draft Government Regulation stipulating the terms governing the provision of subsidies for forestry-environmental measures;
? providing for the Czech Republic’s security situation following dismissal of foreign workers as a result of the current economic crisis;
? analysis of the financing of non-government non-profit organizations from selected public budgets in 2007.
