July 23, 2008: Czech Government Meeting;Press Conference at 1:00 p.m. 23. 7. 2008

Meeting on Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at 9:00 a.m., the members of the Government of the Czech Republic will be discussing, among other issues, the following topics:

 amendments to the Acts on criminal court proceedings, on criminal liability of youth for illegal acts, and on the country’s juvenile justice system;

 programme for the care of the national cultural treasure;

 amendment to the Addictive Drugs Act;

 Bill on the establishment of the Jiøí Podìbrady University at Podìbrady;

 draft Government Regulation laying down a different way of stipulating working hours and time of rest for transportation workers;

 Government Regulation on the content of different trades;

 military strategy for the Czech Republic;

 draft measures to curb spectator violence;

 final report on the operation of the anti-corruption phone line No. 199 for the pilot period from September 19, 2007 tot February 29, 2008.
