July 9, 2008: Czech Government Meeting, Press Conference at 13:00 p.m.

Meeting on Wednesday, July 9, 2008, at 9:00 a.m., the members of the Government of the Czech Republic will discuss, among other issues, the following topics:

? Bill on insurance;

? Bill on the abolition of the National Cultural Fund of the Czech Republic;

? strategy for the development of services for the Information Society in the Czech Republic for the years 2008-2012;

? motion filed by the deputies of the Czech Social Democratic Party on amending the country’s Consumer Taxes Act; 

? draft amendment to the Government Regulation on the system of branches of studies in the elementary, secondary and higher vocational education;

? conclusion of the control of the Supreme Control Office - Immovable property the Ministry of Defence had jurisdiction to manage.
