June 4, 2008: Working Breakfast with Officials from Japan’s Biggest Companies and Economic Organizations

On Wednesday, June 4, 2008, Czech Premier Mirek Topolánek will receive a delegation of the top-ranking representatives of the Union of Japanese Industry - Keidanren.

The meeting will also be attended by Czech Trade and Industry Minister Martin Říman. The main topic to be discussed will be continued development of all-round contacts between both countries, including support for influx of Japanese investments to the Czech Republic (notably in the field of the latest technologies). At the moment, the Czech Republic is the country with the highest concentration of Japanese companies in Central and Eastern Europe. Under debate will be also the planned summit EU-Japan to be held in Prague during the Czech EU presidency
