March 11, 2008: Final Day of the Working Visit to Israel

The Czech Government delegation, headed by Premier Mirek Topolánek, ends its working visit to Israel today, Tuesday, March 11 2008.

Its programme for the final day includes in particular:

 talks with Benjamin Netanahu, Chairman of the Likud Party (leader of the opposition in the Israeli Parliament);
 reception by the Chairman of the Israeli Parliament Dalia Itzik;
 visit to Sderot (the town is frequent target of attacks by Palestinian radicals from the Gaza Strip);
 an address to the Czech-Israeli business seminar;
 inauguration of an exhibition of photographs by Jana Noseková-Žantovská entitled “They Have Survived Hell“ (presenting portraits of Israeli citizens born in Czechoslovakia who survived the Holocaust), given in the building of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Israel;
 return to Prague from Tel Aviv during the night.
