March 19 - 20, 2008: Working Visit To the Republic of Yemen

A Czech Government delegation, headed by Premier Mirek Topolánek, leaves for a working visit to the Republic of Yemen this evening. The purpose of the visit is to foster bilateral relations and support the trading and economic interests of Czech companies in that country.

On Thursday, March 20, 2008, the Czech Premier will meet in Sanaa his counterpart Ali Mohammed Mujawara. The two statesmen will jointly open a meeting of the officials of both countries´ chambers of commerce, and attend the signing of investment agreements. Another key item on the agenda will be reception by the Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh in the Presidential Palace. Later in the day the Czech delegation leaves for Hanoi.
