Meeting of the Czech Government

A meeting of the Government of the Czech Republic will take place on Tuesday, 12 December 2006, in the building of the Czech Government Office, nábřeží E. Beneše 4, Praha 1. The meeting of the Government will be preceded by a session of the Committee for the European Union, starting at 09.00 a.m.

Úřad vlády ČRThe Government will discuss, inter alia, the Proposed course of action of the Czech Republic in proceedings concerning a breach of the Treaty Establishing the European Community by virtue of incomplete transposition of Directive 2003/41/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 3 June 2003 on the activities and supervision of institutions for occupational retirement provisions; Draft bill amending Act No 72/2000 Sb. on investment incentives and on amendments to certain laws (the Investment Incentives Act), as amended; Draft regulation of the Government providing the permissible level of state aid in cohesion regions in the Czech Republic; the Senate draft bill amending Act No 245/2000 Sb. on national holidays, other holidays, significant dates and days of rest, as amended; National programmes in support of small and medium-sized enterprise for 2007; and Position of the Ministry of Culture regarding the audit report of the Supreme Audit Office related to audit No 06/11 – “State Property and State Budget Funds under the Ministry of Culture Chapter”. The Government will also be informed about the status and progress of transformation of the state-owned company Letiště Praha, s.p. into a joint-stock company owned by the state.
