Meeting with the U.S. Ambassador
Czech Prime Minister Mirek Topolánek has today, 23 October 2006, met Mr. Richard W. Graber, the new Ambassador of the United States of America to the Czech Republic.
This has been the first official encounter of the Czech Prime Minister with the new United States’ Ambassador. They have discussed several topics, including for example the visa asymmetry and further course of action to eliminate it. The U.S. party has expressed their encouragement to the Czech Republic’s efforts in the field of official development assistance and protection of human rights. The Czech party has voices their support to the United States’ fight against terrorism.
