Oct 10, 2008, after 11:00 a.m.:Premier´s Briefing with Farmers´ Representatives After Joint Talks

After his negotiations with the officials of the Association of Private Farming of the Czech Republic, the Agricultural Chamber and the Society of Young Agriculturists of the Czech Republic Czech, also attended by the Minister of Agriculture Petr Gandalovič and the Deputy Finance Minister Eduard Janota, Premier Mirek Topolánek will give a press briefing later this morning.

The Premier, his Agriculture Minister and Deputy Finance Minister are meeting farmers´ representatives for talks on the compromise proposals tabled at last Tuesday’s talks with the Czech Republic’s Association of Private Farming aimed at solving the issues of direct make-up payments to farmers.
