Oct 7, 2008: Premier To Attend Inauguration of the New Academic Year
At 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 7, 2008, Czech Premier Mirek Topolánek together with Education Minister Ondřej Liška will be guests at the inauguration of the new academic year 2008-2009.
According to a decision taken by the Czech Rectors´ Conference, this opening ceremony will be held each year at a different university. The Brno-based Masaryk University is now the first institute of higher learning outside Prague to host the event.
