Oct 8, 2008: Czech Government Meeting;Press Conference at 11:00 a.m.

Meeting on Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at 9:00 a.m., the members of the Government of the Czech Republic will be discussing, among other issues, the following items: 
- report on the implementation of the Czech Republic’s budget for the first half of 2008; 
- subject matter of a Bill on the Supervision of Financial Markets; 
- further procedure in drafting Anti-corruption Act for Public Budgets; 
- plan of activities and budget for the country’s Administration of Radioactive Waste Depositories for 2009; 
- compensation to university students who had been prevented from finishing their university studies on political grounds during the communist regime; 
- request filed by the Ministry of Agriculture for the Government’s consent with using funds from a reserve fund of the state’s organizational unit - Ministry of Agriculture for a different purpose and with a change in the binding indicators of the Czech Republic’s budget for 2008, chapter 329 - Ministry of Agriculture.
