Prime Minister to Attend International Conference “Science and the Future of Europe“
Tomorrow, on May 17, 2007, Prime Minister Mirek Topolánek of the ČR will attend the 6th international conference in support of the scientific and technical intelligentsia entitled “Science and the Future of Europe“.
He will deliver a speech at the event. This European forum will also be attended by Sir Harold W. Kroto, holder of the Nobel Prize for chemistry, Pierre-Gilles de Gennes, Nobel Prize laureate for physics, and other leading experts who will meet at a round-table discussion on the topic how to accelerate scientific and technological progress in Europe.
The conference will be held in the High School of Economics, in the great hall of the Rajská building, námìstí W. Churchilla 4, Prague 3, beginning at 10:00 a.m.
