State Awards for Literature and Translation 2006
On Monday, 23 October 2006, Czech Prime Minister Mirek Topolánek will attend the ceremonial bestowal of the State Award for Literature and State Award for Translation for the year 2006.
In his opening speech, the Prime Minister will discuss the “Importance of Czech culture in the integrated Europe and the globalised world“. He will congratulate the laureates and will thank them for their contribution to Czech culture.
The event will take place at the Czech Museum of Music, Karmelitská 2/4, Praha 1, at 04.00 p.m.
