Updated Accreditation Information for the Media

Welcome to the accreditation webpage created for media representatives wishing to attend press conferences at the occassion of Secretary of State Condoleeza Rices visit in Czech Republic. You will find below information on the procedures to be followed to have access to both press conferences.

A missile defense agreement between the Czech Republic and the United States of America will be signed on Tuesday, July 8, 2008, at Czernin Palace – the main seat of the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs. After a signing ceremony, a joint press conference by Czech minister of Foreign Affairs Karel Schwarzenberg and U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice starts at 3 p.m. 

Media Accreditation:

Send your accreditation request to the Press Department of the MFA, please. Deadline for accreditation is Monday, July 7, 2008 at 12:00 a.m. Last-minute requests for accreditation will not be accepted.

Presentation of media representatives and accreditation badge collection on the press conference will finish on Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at 2 p.m.

Meeting of U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and Czech Prime Minister Mirek Topolánek is planned as well. Media accreditation for this venue will be provided by the Press Department of The Office of the Cabinet.
