Visit to the Helicopter Air Force Base at Přerov

In meeting members of the Czech Army and staff of the base, he will be accompanied, among others, by Chairman of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, Miloslav Vlček, Minister of the Interior and Informatics, Ivan Langer, and Minister of Defence, Jiří Šedivý. The Prime Minister will inform the staff of the base and representatives of the local government about the current status of decision-making process regarding the future of the Helicopter Air Force Base at Přerov.

Programme:

11.40 a.m. – arrival at the airport of the Helicopter Air Force 23rd Base at Přerov
11.50 a.m. – presentation of the base’s principal tasks
12.25 p.m. – Mi 24 flight show
12.35 p.m. – report to the Minister of Defence of the Czech Republic, followed by speech of Czech Prime Minister Mirek Topolánek
12.55 p.m. – Press foyer
