Working Visit to the Kingdom of The Netherlands

During his stay the Czech Premier will meet Dutch Prime Minister Jan Peter Balkenend. In their talks they will focus, among other issues, on the two countries´ mutual interest in the European Union’s institutional reform to be completed by 2009. They will also deal with the Czech Republic’s incorporation into the Schengen space, the problems of the Western Balkans-Kosovo as well as the protection of fundamental human rights and freedoms in compliance with the Convention of the Council of Europe.

The Czech Prime Minister will return to Prague in the evening.
