Open doors in Straka Academy
On the October 28th, on the occasion of the anniversary of the Date of Establishment of Independent Czechoslovak State, the doors of Straka Academy, the seat of the Czech Government, have been open for the general public. The number of visitors has approximated 2,000 this year.
At 02.30 p.m., an extraordinary “session of the Government” began in the meeting hall, headed by the Prime Minister. The parts of the ministers have been played by students of the last grade of Sázavská Grammar School in Prague. Each of the “ministers” has prepared a proposal on behalf of his department, and defended it at the “Government session”. In the course of 45 minutes, the student Cabinet successfully discussed and approved several laws.
