Second expert round table focused attention to the positions of the Czech Republic towards changes in eurozone

Within the framework of a series of conferences and expert meetings dedicated to the current development of European integration, a strategic discussion took place from 9 to 10 May 2013 aiming at issues of Economic and Monetary Union and Czech Republic´s positions. In presence of Vice President of the European Parliament Oldřich Vlasák and Senator Dagmar Zvěřinová, participants representing relevant government departments (Office of the Government, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of Regional Development), Czech National Bank, partners of economic and social dialogue (Czech-Moravian Confederation of Trade Unions, Czech Chamber of Commerce) and other interested public concentrated not only on the proposed measures being prepared by the European Commission or the European Council, but also on visions, which the Czech executive introduced within the effort to stabilize eurozone in the strategic material called “Stabilization and future of the Economic and Monetary Union: contribution of the Czech Republic to the European Debate“, which was approved by the Government meeting on 24 April 2013.
