Personal details

Františel Lukl was born 30th October 1977.

Education

In May 1996 completed his School Leaving Certificate at the Klvaň Grammar School in Kyjov.

Attended the Law and Legal Science Masters programme at the Law Faculty of Masaryk University in Brno, where he took his final degree in May 2011. In his dissertation he focused on the Role of the EU Court of Justice in the development of EC law and its application in EU member states.

November 2010: awarded title of Master of Public Administration (MPA) at the Law Faculty of Masaryk University in Brno, under the auspices of Nottingham Trent University.

Professional and Public Activities

From 1st June 2001 to 31st December 2002 František Lukl was Head of the Legal Department of the Hodonín District Authority’s Chief Executive’s Office.

From 1st January 2003 to 15th February 2005 Head of the Mayor’s Office with responsibility for the municipal legal agenda.

František Lukl has been Mayor of Kyjov since 15th February 2005.
