NOTIFICATION, 12 August 2020: Prime Minister Andrej Babiš is to meet with U.S. Secretary of State Michael R. Pompeo
Prime Minister Andrej Babiš will welcome the United States Secretary of State Michael R. Pompeo at the Kramář's Villa on Wednesday, 12 August 2020. The bilateral negotiations will centre mainly around 5th generation mobile network (5G) safety, cybersecurity and mutual co-operation with respect to the COVID-19 pandemic.
This is Michael R. Pompeo's first visit to the Czech Republic in his role as U.S. Secretary of State, and the first visit a U.S. Secretary of State has paid to the Czech Republic since 2011.
Prime Minister Andrej Babiš last visited the United States of America in autumn 2019 to attend the United Nations General Assembly.
