Meeting of the Czech Government

A meeting of the Czech Government will take place on Monday, 5 February 2007, at 09.00 a.m., in the building of the Czech Government Office, nábřeží E. Beneše 4, Praha 1.

The Government will discuss, inter alia, the proposed nominations of representatives of the Czech Republic to the Committee of the Regions – change in the delegation of the Czech Republic to the Committee of the Regions; Definition of social housing; Draft bill amending Act No. 86/2002 Sb. on clear air and on amendments to certain other laws (the Clean Air Act), as amended; Draft bill amending Act No. 182/2006 Sb. on bankruptcy and composition (the Insolvency Act), as amended by Act No. 312/2006 Sb. on insolvency administrators, and Act No. 312/2006 Sb. on insolvency administrators; Motion by MPs Karel Šplíchal, Pavel Ploc and Petr Bratský for promulgation of a law on a special bonus payable to merited sportsmen who won a medal in Olympics; and Final recommendations of the Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women – a supervisory body of the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women. In addition, the Government will be informed regarding the Defence of the Czech Republic before the European Court for Human Rights in the matter of regulation of rental arrangements.
