Czech Government Session

A session of the Czech Government will be held in the Office of the Government of the Czech Republic, nábøeží E. Beneše 4, Prague 1, on Monday, March 12, 2007, starting at 9:00 a.m..

The Government will discuss, among other topics, the following documents: Evaluation of the preparations of the state administration authorities in 2006 for the Czech Republic´s Presidency of the Council of the European Union, a bill amending Act No. 120/2001 Coll., on court-appointed distrainers and distraining activities (Rules of Distraining), and on changes to other acts, as amended by later regulations, a bill amending Act No. 117/2001 Coll., on Public Money Collections and on a change to other acts (Public Money Collections Act), Act No. 21/1992 Coll., on Banks, as amended by later regulations, and Act No. 182/2006 Coll., on Bankruptcy and Modes of its Solution (Bankruptcy Act), as amended by Act No. 312/2006 Coll., the Convergence Programme of the Czech Republic (updated version - March 2007), and the Draft Operating Programmes for Cross-border Co-operation for Objective 3 in the Programming Period 2007-2013 for drawing money from the Structural Funds. The cabinet will also be briefed, for instance, on the status of preparations for the World Nordic Skiing Championships to be held in the Czech Republic in 2009.
