Premier Honoured the Memory of Jan Patočka

Today, on Tuesday March 13, 2007, Prime Minister Mirek Topolánek of the Czech Republic honoured the memory of Jan Patočka´s grave, one of the leading Czech philosophers of the twentieth century, a signatory of the Charter 77 movement, and one of its first spokesmen, who had died 30 years ago.

Acting on behalf of the Prime Minister, Mr. Jan Novák, Head of the Office of the Government of the Czech Republic, laid a bouquet of flowers on the grave of Jan Patočka at the Cemetery of St. Markéta in Břevnov.
