Premier of the Republic of Macedonia to Pay an Official Visit

On Monday, April 30, 2007, Prime Minister Mirek Topolánek of the Czech Republic will hold talks with Premier Nikola Gruevsky of the Republic of Macedonia who will be on an official visit to Prague.

Talks between the two leaders will concentrate on an exchange of views on topical issues concerning the development of the political and security situation in the Western Balkans, focussing on the position and future status of Kosovo. Also under discussion will be economic co-operation: primarily in the power sector, transport and related infrastructure modernization, in environmental protection, and in the development of urban transport systems.

Their talks will be held in the Office of the Government of the Czech Republic, nábř. Edvarda Beneše 4, Prague 1, beginning at 10:00 a.m.
