Pilgrimage at Vilémovice

On Saturday, May 19, 2007, Prime Minister Mirek Topolánek of the Czech Republic will attend a pilgrimage at Vilémovice in the district of Havlíèkùv Brod.

The event is held under the aegis of Premier Topolánek and Vysoèina Regional Commissioner Miloš Vystrèil. Its motto is “The Nicer the Countryside, the Lovelier the Whole Country“. Central Europe’s oldest tree - a common yew - whose age is estimated at 1,500 - 2,000 years will be unveiled during the event.

The celebration starts in the common of the village of Vilémovice at 1:00 p.m.
