Czech Prime Minister To Open an Exhibition in Kramář Villa

On Thursday, May 31, 2007 Prime Minister Mirek Topolánek of the Czech Republic will inaugurate an exhibition called “Karel and Naděžda Kramář At Home“ and held by the Office of the Government of the Czech Republic in conjunction with the National Museum on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the death of the first Czechoslovak Premier.

The event offers a unique opportunity to see documents from the family’s estate as well as Naděžda Kramářová´s jewels of which the most valuable piece is a diamond set in a necklace, a gem unparalleled in Central Europe.

The Prime Minister will open a preview of the exhibition together with the Director of the National Museum Michal Lukeš in Kramář Villa, Gogolova 1, Prague 1 at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 31, 2007.

Journalists are requested to arrive at least 15 minutes before the event.
