Meeting of the Czech Government

The Government of the Czech Republic will meet at its regular session today, on July 18, 2007, at 9:00 a.m. In addition to the official programme of the meeting, today’s session will include deliberations with officials of the Czech Republic’s Union of Towns and Villages, starting at 11: 30 a.m.

The Government will discuss, among other issues, the following topics: Bill changing Act No. 269/1994 Coll., on Criminal Records, as amended by later regulations, and some other laws, as amended by later regulations, Bill on the exports and imports of goods that could be used for capital punishment, torture or other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment, and on the provision of technical aid involving this type of goods, and on change of Act No. 634/2004 Coll., on administrative charges, as amended by later regulations, Draft Government Regulation on the terms for using the financial means from the State Housing Development Fund in subsidies to cover part of the costs connected with the repair of apartment houses.
