International folk festival „Prague Fair“

On Tuesday, the 28th of August, 2007 Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Mirek Topolánek will officially open the 4th international folk festival “Prague Fair”, held in the Czech capital under his auspices.

The programme of the six-day festival includes performances by more than 1200 individuals and 25 ensembles not only from the Czech Republic and other European states, but also from Mexico, Ecuador, China and Russia. Apart from the shows of folk ensembles, this original event will also offer demonstrations of interesting crafts and tastings of specialities of Czech, Moravia, Silesian and international cuisine.
The Prime Minister will open the festival at 8:00 p.m. at Ovocný trh in Prague 1.
