December 17, 2007: Premier and Children from Children’s Homes To Visit a Christmas Exhibition

Prime Minister Mirek Topolánek of the Czech Republic will meet children from children’s homes on the eve of the Christmas holiday, on Monday, December 17, 2007, at 5:00 p.m.

The venue of this special event will be Prague’s Hrzánský Palace where an exhibition entitled “Diverse Christmas Time“ will be held between December 17 and 20. It is organized by the Office of the Government of the Czech Republic in conjunction with the Ethnographic Museum and the Government Council for National Minorities for all people interested in traditions of national minorities. Approximately 60 children from 37 children’s homes all over the country will come to meet the Czech Premier. These are selected participants in a competition for the best Christmas decoration and authors of drawings on the subject “My Father Christmas“. Their original artworks are also on display.
